BloomCraft Atelier is a Melbourne-based floral design house founded in 2009. What began as a two-person pop‑up studio in a heritage garage has grown into a thirty‑five‑member collective of creatives, obsessive horticulturists, and installation architects. From the quiet of a hand‑held bridal bouquet we have built a reputation for installations that feel less like decoration and more like a designed emotion – an approach embraced by couples, guest curators, and international fashion houses alike.
A humble beginning with a radical promise: to craft pure emotion in botanical form.
Founder Clara Fontaine spent her childhood among greenhouses and seaweed-dotted beaches, then studied sculpture in Sydney before training with Dutch master florists. After returning to Australia, she began accepting only two commissions a month, hand‑tying every stem herself. The demand quickly surpassed her solo capacity – and so the BloomCraft atelier was born.
Today we remain a boutique design studio in the truest sense: every project is led by one senior director, meets the entire team, and is installed by the same hands that sketched, grew, and sculpted it.
